Ah-Ha! I'm not dead (yet)!
This is my OC Eris, who I've decided to enter to join ; a group I've been stalking. Sorry for the wall of text... D'|

Species: Grim Reaper; she's solely created for the purpose to reap souls, and determine how long they spend in purgatory; if they go to Heaven, or if they have to spend eternity in Hell. As a Grim Reaper, she's granted special access to certain realms; ex. Hell, Heaven. She has a Book of Sin that details the life of the soul she's collecting; giving her every bit and piece of that person's life. Her scythe forms from her shadow.

Fears: Ohmergersh. Eris is a huge coward. Here's some of her phobias: Zombies, Spiders, Worms, Most of the bug species (the exception being butterflies...until contact is made), Being alone for too long, Spiders, Puppets/Porcelain Dolls/Most Doll-like things, Seeing her own Blood, Heights, Snakes, Frogs, Rats, SPIDERS [She'll never admit to being afraid of any of this, though...]
Strengths: She's extremely flexible, which goes hand-in-hand with her having a lot of skill in parkour (her parkour skills were naturally, since she constantly spazzed out around bugs as a child...). She's pretty good with daggers, switchblades, and most knives. She's also a bit talented with shadow work- since her scythe forms from her shadow. She's also got a lot of stamina, being a Grim Reaper, and has some immunity to certain poisons and illnesses.
Weaknesses: She's a huge coward, and usually runs from a fight if she thinks she can't win. She also has a long list of fears, so many things can spook her. She usually underestimates people. Since her only job as a Reaper is to collect souls, she doesn't have much skill in combat, and she's usually solely dependent on some form of weapon. She's also pretty physically weak for a Reaper, so she depends mostly on her scythe.
Goals: She wants to get a lot more stronger- mainly focusing on making her scythe stronger, since it's her main weapon. She also wants to get stronger physically and magically, and she really wants to learn shadow focused attacks; she thinks they'll make her and her scythe stronger.
Personality: Eris is very cocky and self-confident, and she can be a bit greedy and selfish. She'll often underestimate others. She can be annoying sometimes, too. Despite all her self-confidence, she's a big coward and usually flees at the first sight of danger (if she can't handle it). She's also a bit innocent; she won't get dirty jokes too often (she'll make you explain them). She's a bit socially awkward while still outgoing. Eris is very fond of fluffy and soft things, and loves meat and sweets. She's also incredibly spazzy, and usually overreacts to situations. Despite being lazy, she's capable of being very smart if she tried harder.
History: Eris grew up with a pretty easy, normal life; her family, the Astaroth's, are a noble and wealthy family of grim reapers that had a bit of a high reputation for doing their job well, but a low one for behavior. Most of the family's reapers were usually cocky, arrogant, lazy, greedy, or had something of the sort. Everything they had in personality was made up in skill. Eris is the eldest daughter of Damien and Lily Astaroth, and she's the eldest sister of her younger twin sisters, Ciara and Bianca. Eris was raised in mostly isolation; her father started training her to be a reaper at the age of 10, which led to a manslaughter of her whole class in elementary school (though they were revived by some type of magic thanks to other grim reapers). Eris often had violent outbursts as a child after gaining a little bit of power over her scythe; they often ended with some sort of slaughter, decapitation, or some severed body part. As a way to keep some of these outbursts under control, Eris had some sort of seal placed on her right eye that would lock away any extreme violence, rage, or power from her scythe.

Both her parents were grim reapers, but her mother retired.
The small bat thing in the picture is her "pet". Her mother sent it with Eris to keep an eye on her. It's name is Bo, and it's obsessed with being on time and manners.
Her family includes: Her father, Damien, Her mother, Lily, Her younger twin sisters Ciara and Bianca, and the family butler Aidan; who hates Eris with a passion since a violent outburst by her that was inflicted on him (she claims that he was just "overreacting".
Very sensitive when around certain subjects- she usually sulks when someone points out her flat-chestedness; Ex. Her sisters.
Prefers to be called by her middle name, Eris.

Eris: *looks up and marvels at the large castle before her* Sheesh...And I thought my place was big... *nervously makes her way through the entrance, chills going through her spine each time the wind blows* ...this place is terribly creepy...Why couldn't they just let me go to some public school...?*she wines to herself constantly with each turn down the long, dark corridors; silently cursing her father* This place had better be worth what it's all cracked up to be...*turns and glares at the darkness behind her* Oh please; who am I kidding? This place can't even afford decent lighting...*as she turns down the next corridor, a small creek gets her attention, and her nervousness rises, freezing her in place* Wh-Who's there......? *she glared in the direction of the creek, where ominous wind somehow blew in the corridor...as an answer to her question, a loud, thunderous sound growled angrily at her. Her eye widened, and, with arms flailing, she sped through the hallway* Ohohohohohohohoho NO. I definitely hate this plaaaace!!
